Overview

Clean Design is a local-first visual creation studio for Apple Silicon Macs. It turns a prompt into an editable project while keeping the workspace, files, history, and exports on the user's machine. The app works with five existing local AI CLIs: Codex, Claude Code, Antigravity, OpenCode, and Pi. It also supports bring-your-own-key model providers without presenting a separate product account, subscription, or hosted workspace.

Product principles

Local by default — Projects and assets remain on the Mac.
Use the tools you have — Bring an existing supported CLI or provider key.
Editable outcomes — Continue on the canvas, inspect project files, and export a portable handoff.
Open source — Inspect the application and adapt the workflow.

What it can make

Clean Design preserves a broad visual workspace rather than reducing generation to a single image. It supports application interfaces, design systems, presentations, documents, diagrams, campaigns, storyboards, and other visual artifacts through the same project model.
